What transponders models do support number/ID change ?
- All black transponder model manufactured and shipped on website since begin of november 2022
- MiniZ transponder do not support number change
What are the possible transponder ID (Identifiation) numbers ?
You can change the transponder number among 10 values:
- if transponder default number is 22 then you can change the value from 22 to 31 so among numbers 22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31
- As number are from 1 to 96, if transponder default number is 95 then you can change among value from 95,96,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
The default ID/number of the transponder is the 2 last digit of the serial number written on the transponder
Transponder that support ID change stop emit for 3 seconds after been plug after 60 seconds
How to change the number (ID) ?

Steps:
- Power the transponder for 60 seconds
- Power the transponder for 8 seconds
- Power the transponder for 8 seconds
- Power the transponder for 8 seconds
- Power the transponder for 8 seconds
- The transponder is now in change ID mode and will sent a signal changing every 3 seconds from default value to the default value +9, just disconnect when the value sent to the LapMonitor is the one you want (to know which value is sent, please check the video Android or Ios)
Your transponder has now a new value and will be kept until it is changed again
How to know if your transponder support number/ID change ?
Transponder that support ID change stop emit for 3 seconds after been plug after 60 seconds
To verify if this is the case for your transponder:
- Start a race
- Direct the transponder to the LapMonitor
- Power the transponder
- If after 60 seconds the LapMonitor red LED switch off for 3 seconds then it is possible to change the transponder ID among 10 values
